➡️ Instructions for Using Offline Files with QuickSearchPlus

- Using offline files lets you work faster without depending on internet speed. 
- Download them from the Festo FTP server and copy next to QuickSearchPlus.exe
- All offline files work independent of the QuickSearchPlus version.
- A version check can be done in the Settings.
- If all steps are followed, QuickSearchPlus can be used without an internet connection.

➡️ Offline Pictures and Symbols from ..\PIC
-------------------------------------------
Copy the Pictures.PIC file into the same folder as QuickSearchPlus.exe.

➡️ Offline Datasheets from ..\DAT

Copy the Datasheets.xx.DAT file into the same folder as QuickSearchPlus.exe. 
If successful, the datasheet icon in QuickSearchPlus will show a blue line. 
The "xx" represents the language of your choice.

➡️ Offline PDF Documentation from ..\CAT

Copy the Catalog.xx.CAT file into the same folder as QuickSearchPlus.exe. 
If successful, the documentation icon in QuickSearchPlus will show a blue line. 
The "xx" represents the language of your choice. 
If your language is not available, EN is taken instead

➡️ Offline Operating Instructions from ..\OperatingInstructions

Copy OperatingInstructions.CAT file into the same folder as QuickSearchPlus.exe. 
This file contains all operating instructions in all available languages.

➡️ Offline Configuration
-----------------------
Unzip the Configurator.zip file to the same folder as QuickSearchPlus.exe. 
Please ensure that the Configurator.zip file is extracted into the QuickSearchPlus application directory, which will automatically create the \Configurator subdirectory. A common mistake is extracting the file into an existing \Configurator directory, resulting in a \Configurator\Configurator directory, which will not work.

Switch online/offline in the upper right corner of QuickSearchPlus. The red ✖ or the green ✔ will indicate if online or offline configurator is active Y/N.

Download the latest version of the Festo PARTdataManager CAD Library from:
https://ftp.festo.com/Public/PNEUMATIC/SOFTWARE_SERVICE/CAD_Tools/Festo_PARTdataManager/
⚠️ It is necessary to update the CAD data once via an online connection ⚠️

➡️ Verify Folder Structure

Finally, your local QuickSearchPlus folder should contain these files and folders (example for English GB):

QuickSearchPlus.exe
Pictures.PIC
Datasheet.EN.DAT
Catalog.EN.CAT
OperatingInstructions.CAT
\Configurator

If you like to switch to other languages in QuickSearchPlus, just add more Catalog.xx.CAT and Datasheet.xx.DAT files accordingly.
